Erin Blagdon
Director of Business Development
Erin is a highly skilled and seasoned administrator and business coordinator. She was most recently a Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO of Illumination Foundation, Paul Leon. In this role, Erin not only supported the CEO in this highly fast-paced environment, she also had an instrumental role in advancing the mission and vision of Illumination Foundation and its nationally recognized Street2Home model. Erin’s hands-on work with this multi-disciplinary model paved the way for many opportunities to work with individuals at the highest level of government, funders, executives of health plans, large non-profit organizations and key stakeholders in the areas of housing and healthcare. Erin has been a key coordinator and project manager on contracts with MCPs and other state incentive funding programs.
During her time at Illumination Foundation, Erin worked closely with city and state officials to advance the programs of Illumination Foundation. A natural networker, she was tasked with growing Illumination Foundation’s database and advancing the vision of Illumination Foundation’s leader. Erin played a strategic role in planning and coordinating Illumination Foundation’s annual consortium, Together We Can, Solutions to Address Health Equity. Over 400 attendees focused on integrating effective solutions to lowering the barriers vulnerable populations experience in accessing healthcare, education, housing and workforce. At Illumination Foundation Erin coordinated world-class tours of Illumination Foundation’s Fullerton facility for policy makers, executives of health plans, state officials and interested investors.
Erin’s understanding and knowledge of medical respite, short-term post hospitalization and Illumination Foundation’s unique model led her to be a valuable asset in not only advancing Paul Leon’s innovative ideas but also playing a key role in strategic planning and advising. Erin’s deep understanding of Community Supports and ECM has strategically placed her as a subject matter expert in this field.
Erin graduated summa cum laude from Vanguard University in Southern California in December of 2013 with a Bachelors of Music.
