Samantha Abelove Murillo, <b>MPA</b>
Project Manager
Samantha Abelove Murillo is a Project Manager at National Healthcare and Housing Advisors. Previously, she served as Program Manager for the California Voter Foundation (CVF), where she was the organization’s sole full-time staff member. In this role, she oversaw a wide range of operations, including program development, fundraising, communications, event planning, and the management of CVF's social media and website. Before her time at CVF, Samantha held several roles at UCLA, most recently as a Grant Analyst with the Office of Research Administration. There, she reviewed grant proposals and cooperative agreements for compliance with institutional policies, while also managing awards from a diverse range of federal and nonprofit sponsors.
Samantha holds a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. For her Master’s Capstone Project, she researched the barriers and constraint faced by individuals experiencing homelessness when trying to access the voting process. She is excited to continue to work towards system change, eliminating barriers for the most vulnerable populations.
Samantha also earned a B.A. in Politics and International Relations with a minor in Religious Studies from Scripps College.
