Deby Wolford

Vice President, Housing

Deby Wolford is the leader of our Housing Development programs. With her wealth of talent and incredible experience, Deby is instrumental in scaling our housing projects throughout key markets. In addition to her role at NHHA, Deby will also be responsible for Encompass Housing, a nonprofit partner of NHHA, which will help develop innovative communities and housing for vulnerable individuals and families.Deby brings over 19 years of experience to the role, having previously worked at Colette's Children's Home where she was instrumental in creating policies and procedures, designing and implementing programming including emergency shelter, transitional housing, affordable tax credit housing and permanent supportive housing.

Deby's expertise also extends to her work as the HMIS agency administrator and participation in the Orange County Continuum of Care with the initial rollout of the HMIS and Coordinated Entry Systems. Deby's commitment to the community continued as a member of the Family Solutions Collaborative and on the MHSA Steering Committee.For the past 3 years, Deby served as the Director of Housing for Illumination Foundation, where she was responsible for overseeing annual budgets and reporting outcomes to multiple government and philanthropic funders. Deby also oversaw all Children and Families programming and expanded the emergency shelter programming. Deby is excited to impart her leadership and expertise as we continue to make an impact in the community through our housing programs and Encompass Housing.
